Hello, friends. I've got only 2 links from you and seen only 2 videos ("R&J" and "Shakespeare's friends"). I'm waiting for other videos.
But it's time to do the next task. This time you have to make a cinquain (the topic is the same, of course)) in 2 days - so, send it to me (mku.imz@gmail.com) not later than March, 17, OK? And be creative!)))

Hello, friends. Here are the results of the quiz:
Answers were given by all the teams, and each team gave at least one correct answer. So, 18 points are scored by:

  • A.Tikhonova ("Midsummer night's dream", Ichalki School)
  • M. Garanina ("R & J", School №2)
  • I. Savlinova ("Dream-team", Dubskoe School)
  • "Connoisseurs of Shakespeare" (School №1)
  • "Shakespeare's friends" (School №1)
And here are the correct answers to the questions that some of you have made mistakes in:
       3. The county where Stradford-upon-Avon is situated is Warwickshire (not Durham).
       5. There are no records of his school attendance, but it is highly likely he attended the Stratford Grammar School
       6. Shakespeare was married to Anne Hathaway (the namesake of a well-known American actress)))
       9. It is not known for sure how or why he left his home town of Stratford.
      10. The London theaters were closed on account of a virulent outbreak of the plague in 1593 and part of 1594. It was Bubonic Plague.
      13. In 1603 Shakespeare's acting company, The Lord Chamberlain's Men, became the King's Men. Their patron was James I (not Henry VIII).
      16. Shakespeare wrote 38 plays, 154 sonnets, and 2 epic narrative poems.
      18. It is NOT reasonable to think that someone other than William Shakespeare (1564-1616) of Stratford-upon-Avon wrote the works attributed to him.

To sum up, all the teams get 18 points for the quiz. Good job!!

It's me again. Once - the second task. You have to make a short video - card of your team (not longer than 4-5 minutes) "We and William". There are no compulsory requirements to the content of the video - just remember: you have to introduce your team referring to the theme of the project. Then you have to place it in the Internet (a personal site, a blog, a page Vkontakte or somewhere like this) and send me a link (my address is mku.imz@gmail.com). You have 2 weeks for this work - till March, 14. Good luck!
Hello! Are you ready? Then - the first task for you. The members of each team (5 teams are taking part in the project: 2 teams from School №1, 1 - from School №2, Dubscoe school and Ichalki school) have to answer 18 questions of the Quiz "He was not of an age, but for all time". It doesn't have to be 1 member of your team who will do the work. You may do it together and give 1 answer, or some people may give some answers - in any case we will score your best one. The only compulsory requirement - you must not do it during your lessons-time. The link to the Quiz will be active for 2 days: today and tomorrow. Hope, you will learn something new about William Shakespeare (or it'll make you learn something new))). Good luck!

Hello, friends. I'm extremely glad to welcome you at our net project again. This time it is devoted to the life and work of the greatest English poet and playwright, a mysterious figure with regards to personal history - William Shakespeare. We've prepared some tasks that surely will help you to learn more about him. Besides, you'll have to work with some useful Internet services (hope, it will be both useful and interesting, of course). So, let's begin! Good luck to all the teams!
P.S. Your comments are also to be welcomed here, in the blog))
